It has been such a delight to me this week to be reacquainted with two old friends... one of whom I have not talked to for 35 years... since 8th grade, who was my best friend and a citizen of Mexico, here in the US for a 1 year school term.
She found me on Facebook. I have never been so happy to have an unusual name so i could be FOUND!
Another friend I have not seen since my early 20's... she is also doing wonderfully.
It is fun to be reconnected with people whom you shared great memories with. God is good. Friendship is golden. I have a little wall hanging that says it right.. Make New Friends, But Cherish the Old, One is Silver, The Other Gold!
